Franky is the 8th person to join the Strawhat crew. He is the crew's shipright and it's his job to keep their ship The Thousand Sunny in good condition. Franky was first introduced as a villian during the Water 7 arc before they realise that he isn't a bad guy.
Franky is a free-spirted, strong-willed and eccentric guy who was seen as a weird outcast and troublesome delquient by the people of water 7. He does whatever he wants ever if it goes against rules or norms or people think he's weird for it. Franky loves building powerful and bizzare machines and goofing around with his friends and crewmates whom he cares for very much. While he is a very ridciolous guy, he has also been shown to be one of the most mature and reliable members of the crew.
Along with being extremely good a building machines, Franky himself is a cyborg. After being involved in a horrible accident when he was younger, he spent around 8 years rebuilding his own body. Because of this Franky has many unique abilities. He also runs on nothing but Coca Cola.
